Thurlow Nunn Division 1 South

NW London vs Dunmow Town

Saturday 21st September 3pm

Coles Park hosts the Gorillas as they return to league action, 10 days after their last competitive fixture.

Their opponents, Dunmow Town, sit just one place above NWL in the league table.

NWL's last two results have brought a positive shift, securing four points after a challenging spell of injuries and defeats.

The victory at FC Baresi was especially significant, as the Gorillas introduced three new players, all of whom impressed. Notably, goalkeeper Samuel Nwabuko, who made his debut, was named man of the match.

Dunmow Town, now in their second season at Step 6 after their promotion last year, lost this fixture 4-3 in a dramatic encounter during the 23-24 season. However, they won the reverse fixture 4-0, which helped propel them into the play-offs, though they ultimately fell short in the final, losing to Wormley Rovers.

Several players who made their competitive debuts for NWL are expected to retain their places in the lineup, with the anticipated return of captain James Allen.
