The Teenagers Making Their Mark
With one of the youngest squads ever at the club this season, we turn our attention to the teenagers who are making waves for NW London.
Since joining in August, Lamine Gomes has quickly established himself as a first-team regular. Versatile and adaptable, he's excelled in various positions, scoring three goals so far. One of these strikes, a stunning effort against Enfield Borough, is already a contender for Goal of the Season.
Gomes' game is characterized by his relentless work rate, attacking flair, and all-around ability. His performances have made him an integral part of the team.
After joining during pre-season, Bernardino Andeme had to bide his time before breaking into the first team. Now, however, the silky left-footed right winger is making his presence felt. With two goals already to his name, his recent displays have been electrifying.
At just 17, Andeme's potential is immense. Fans and coaches alike are excited about what he can achieve in the game.
A recent addition to the squad, Hussein Farhat has only two appearances under his belt but has already showcased his exceptional quality. Making his full debut against Enfield Borough, Farhat dazzled on the left wing with his technical ability and skill to beat defenders.
The club is eager to see how Farhat's talent develops in the coming weeks.
At just 17 years old, Bernardo De Quadros has already amassed nearly 23 appearances for the club, including a memorable goal on his full debut against Barkingside. With a background in futsal, his technical skills are a joy to watch.
Although he hasn't featured as prominently in recent weeks, De Quadros remains a highly regarded player within the squad.
Manager Wasim Khan's Thoughts
“They're not in the squad because of a long-term project or a focus on youth. They are there because they are exceptionally talented players. If they work hard, their potential is massive. I see no reason why they can't elevate the team and finish this season strong. Just because you're young doesn't mean you can't make good decisions on the pitch.”
The club's young talents have already made a significant impact this season, and the future looks incredibly bright for NW London.
