ABOUT NW LONDON FC

A young club with big ambitions

NW London Football Club, established in 2015 by Wasim Khan and Samir Naji, has carved a remarkable path in such a short time.

The club's story begins on the pitches of the Sunday League, fuelled by both a passion for the beautiful game and a desire to build a local club.

History of NW London FC

Amateur Roots, 2015-2017

The club experienced success after success in Sunday League, and made the leap to the National League system in 2017.

Early Victories, 2017-2018

Our first season in the Middlesex County League (Division 1 Central and East) quickly saw us achieve a mid-table finish in our first season (2017-2018).

A New Chapter, 2017-2018

Recognising our potential, we formalised the club structure at the end of the 2017-2018 season. Wasim Khan moved from being a player manager to a full-time manager, while Samir Naji became assistant manager.

Climbing the ladder, 2018-2019

Under this new leadership, the 2018-2019 season was a triumph. A strong third-place finish earned us a coveted position in the Middlesex County League (Premier Division - Step 7).

Showcasing our potential, 2020-2021

The following two seasons, while cut short by the Covid-19 pandemic, showcased our growing strength. Once football returned, we were title winners in the 2020-2021 season of the Middlesex County League (Premier Division), securing our promotion to the National League System.

Further Successes, 2020-2021

This historic season was further celebrated with victories in the Anagram Records Trophy and the Middlesex Intermediate Cup, completing a remarkable treble and entering us to the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties division 1 South (Step 6) for the 2021-2022 season.

  • Humanitarian and fundraising efforts in Palestine
  • Representing the struggle of the local and global black communities with Black Lives Matter

About our style of play

NW London Football Club has established a reputation for a possession-based style of play which balances technical quality and ball control with movement and passes, resulting in football that is both fun to watch and – as shown by our rise since 2015 – gets results.

It's not showmanship for the sake of showmanship, nor is it entirely direct and physical. However, you define it, local, online and visiting fans alike have commended us for our playstyle, as have opposing managers.

Why not see it for yourself?
